Seek - Today's Word

“Seek the Lord while He may be found, call on Him while He is near.” - Isaiah 55:6

Here is another famous verse that we always come across: 

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

Today, we are going to Focus on the word, 'SEEK!' 

The Greek word for "seek" in the Bible means to strive after, aim at, pursue or crave. 

How do you seek God in spirit? 

This is how I do it.

Always seeking God through prayer. 

Meditating and memorizing His text - the Bible. 

Worshiping Him in my actions towards others. 

Holding fast in obedience to what I have read, understood, heard and believed.

Pursuing God in the spirit. 

Today, seek God through prayer, honestly spill out your confusion, heartaches, hardships and troubles whisper it all to God. He is listening. Make time to take a break, rest your soul for a silent waiting before God, and let Him know that you are willing to trust the mystery of His good intentions toward you. God Bless. 

Prayer:

Dear God, 

I pray you bless me to earnestly seek you. I am willing to trust the mystery of your good plans in my life. Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
